Fragrance- Where to Buy The Right Perfume at a Discount

I love to smell good. I get regular compliments on how great I smell. I don't spend a lot of money on my perfumes, but I buy the good stuff. No drugstore perfumes for me. I smell enough of that during the day. I work at a high school and students often spray cheap perfume and cologne.
Perfumes and handbags are my vice. I always say no matter how fat I get, my handbag still fits and the same goes for the perfume. Plus, men love a woman that smells good.
I first discovered nice, designer perfumes at the counter of my local department store. I think the first one I tried was Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist. It is so soft and lovely. Then I smelled someone wearing Betsey Johnson and fell in love with that. Recently, I have also used Prada. These are my three favorites so I will use them as my examples in a price comparison.
I use the Eau De Toilette version of Cashmere Mist. At Nordstrom's the 3.4 ounce is $80. At perfume.net the same size is $65.19 plus a 15% discount. Fragrance.com appeared to be the same website with a different name. Perfume.com carried it for $64. On Ebay you can find it for $39.99.
Okay now let's move on the next one, Betsey Johnson. I couldn't find it on either Nordstrom's or Macy's but on perfume.net it was $39.19. Perfume.com had it for $39, but on Ebay you could buy an unused tester for $24.85.
The best savings I could find was for the Prada L'Eau'Ambree. At Nordstrom it was $117.00 for the 2,7 ounce bottle. At perfume.net it was $90.19 with a 15% discount. At perfume.com it was $89. I just purchased an unused tester on Ebay for $39.99.
Now, whether the perfumes on Ebay are legit is probably a whole 'nother article, but I swear by them. They are the authentic product. So, as you can see, you can smell fabulous for a reasonable price. I go to the mall, check out the testers to find what I like, then purchase it online.
Techniques for applying are simple. Layering makes the scent last longer. If you use the lotion and powder along with the perfume, you should smell nice longer than with the perfume alone. A little goes a long way. When people 10 feet away tell me I smell good, I figure I went a little heavy that day!
So find a fragrance you love, that makes you feel good. Now you know how to do it without spending an arm and a leg.
